Impact
Impact (social and environmental) is the investment’s current and potential impact on people and planet. For us to invest, the impact potential must be positive, intentional and measurable. Our ambition is to help accelerate each investment's positive impact to benefit the planet and society.
ESG
ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) is about how the company, or the entrepreneur, runs its operations. We aim to support each investment to operate responsibly, focusing on environmental care, social responsibility, and good governance and culture throughout their value chain.

Theory of Change
During the Ideate phase, we test if we can describe the investment's impact delivery process according to the Theory of Change Model. We also assess if and how the investment's positive outcome, or at least output, can be measured according to the model.
Impact Rating Model
During the Materialize phase, we use our proprietary Impact Rating Model. This model originates from the Impact Management Project's (IMP) five dimensions of impact and is integrated with Trill Impact’s own rating model.
Managing, measuring and reporting impact and ESG
After entering a Partnership with a new investment, three phases follow - Accelerate, Collaborate, and Transfer. During those phases we manage, measure and report impact and ESG performance based social and environmental objectives, standardized KPIs.
