About the position
We are looking for a senior impact professional who is eager to make a positive contribution to solving pressing societal challenges while generating competitive financial returns. This role is based in Munich within the Impact & ESG team, as part of the broader Trill Impact Advisory team, and will be fully dedicated to the Impact Private Equity strategy. Currently, Trill Impact has 7 impact professionals located across our Stockholm and Munich offices.
In your role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Leadership: Working and leading others - internally and externally - under pressure, while demonstrating situational/adaptable leadership and an ability to prioritize tasks as well as available resources very well.
- Analytical depth: Conduct detailed and thorough due diligence to provide valuable insights on how target companies are currently positioned with respect to impact and ESG criteria
- Client engagement: Support portfolio companies (post-investment) in implementing impact and ESG approaches (from hygiene factors to value creation), with practical tools and in depth knowledge/experience
- Strategic mindset: Contribute to developing methodologies and approaches to impact and ESG analysis, corporate sustainability strategy, impact measurement and management, and regulatory requirements
- Tenacity: Your role will span across the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, due diligence, and portfolio company ownership.

Experience and qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience within a management consulting, transaction advisory or corporate strategy environment, with a strong ESG/Impact focus
- Experience in leading teams/others
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of databases and modelling experience is an advantage
- Ability to identify priorities and drive work forward autonomously
- Comfortable with conversations with internal and external senior management
- Ambitious and eager to contribute to the team and work in an entrepreneurial, performance focused, and driven environment
- The motivation to build businesses that make a positive contribution to society
- Academic background from top-tier university programs in business administration, finance or economics, or other relevant degrees
- Proficiency in English and German, both written and verbal
