About the position

We are looking for an impact professional who is eager to make a positive contribution to solving pressing societal challenges across Trill Impact’s Private Equity and Venture capital strategies. This role is fully dedicated to the Impact Team, reporting to the Impact Partner. Currently Trill Impact has 7 impact professionals located across our Stockholm and Munich offices.

The role includes the following tasks and capabilities:

  • Collaborative engagement: Working closely with the investment team, portfolio company management teams, LPs and sector initiatives to support data reporting, performance management, and communication. Ability to identify synergies and improve efficiency of ways of working, across teams.
  • Thought leadership and strategic direction: Contribute to developing the firm’s strategic direction in managing stakeholder reporting approaches, including value-adding methodologies, implementation and system support, processes and collaboration structures to drive Impact and ESG performance for the portfolio as a whole.
  • Data analysis: Conduct detailed and thorough Impact and ESG data controlling and analyses, including performance measurement and target setting, monitoring and external benchmarking
  • Reporting and communication: Managing a large number of reporting obligations to both internal and external audiences including the investors relations and finance teams,  investors, industry reporting platforms and other audiences, often involving a broad array of data sources, and under time pressure
  • Portfolio and regulatory engagement: Supporting the portfolio in the implementation of sustainable finance related regulations and associated disclosure requirements, and identifying and driving value creation levers stemming from these regulations

Please note that the eventual level of seniority and title will be based upon the successful candidate's level and relevance of experience for this role.

Experience and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

  • Thorough understanding of existing Impact and ESG frameworks and practices
  • Extensive experience of data collection, analysis and reporting against a large number of globally recognized Impact and ESG frameworks and reporting initiatives
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills and great attention to detail
  • Ability to think strategically, identify priorities and drive work forward autonomously and across the team
  • Academic background from top-tier university programs in business administration, finance or economics, or other relevant degrees
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
