About the internship
Trill Impact Ventures was established in 2021 as part of the broader Trill Impact house. We invest in three themes – Green Tech, Life Science, and Impact Enablers, which encompasses any disruptive technologies that enable impact at scale across all sectors. We invest in start-ups from Series A onwards, with initial ticket sizes of €5-10m and up to €25m for follow-ons.
This internship will specifically be on the Trill Impact Ventures Green Tech team. As a member of the team, you will take part in all the day-to-day operations along the deal timeline, which is highly dynamic and can range from IC preparation to expert calls to deal sourcing.
What to expect:
- Integral team member: in this closely knit team, you will be collaborating closely with everyone else, gaining exposure to all stages and aspects of deal-sourcing and deal-making
- Variety of responsibilities: your core responsibilities will involve activities throughout the whole deal process, from initial touchpoints with founders to negotiations in deal closing. Exemplary tasks include preliminary due diligence and research, deal tracking, preparations for investment committees, managing deal flow across team members, and outbound sourcing.
- Front-row seat to the impact start-up scene: through conversations with founders, meetings & conferences, and just your day-to-day work, you will be exposed to the latest happenings in the impact start-up and vc scene
- Dynamic work environment: our office is located steps from Marienplatz in the center of Munich; various office events and after work socials foster a lively, energetic workplace. At the same time, the team also supports hybrid working and some home office days.

Experience and qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have/be the following:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from a top university
- Prior internship or work experience in investments or consulting preferred
- Independent thinker, do-er and self-starter, able to take on different challenges and proactively manage own tasks
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Compassionate team member, complemented by strong communication and analytical skills
