Founded in 1989, Raksystems started by offering building inspection services to B2C and B2B customers, and has developed into a leading property well-being expert whose primary business is inspections and surveys, green building services and project services. The core of Raksystems is to support the well-being of buildings, people and the environment.
The company is also engaged in projects connected to developing safe communities, buildout of a society's infrastructures like water, sewage and public transport, and large urban construction projects.
Since its founding, the Company has built a strong team of engineering staff with extensive expertise in condition inspections, energy and life cycle management and efficient renovations.
“I am very happy that I can offer our staff and customers this opportunity to continue the growth of our business together with Trill Impact, which shares our values. The well-being of properties, but also our staff, is close to my heart and the hearts of the entire management of Raksystems. Naturally, the goals of our business are high, but that only emphasizes how pleased we are to share this journey with this fantastic group of people.”
- Marko Malmivaara, CEO
Trill Impact sees significant potential in further accelerating the growth journey of Raksystems, taking it from a leading Nordic technical building services player to a pan-European green building services expert. Key impact and investment attractions, in Trill Impact’s view, include:
Green building advisory and renovations indirectly enable both energy/resource efficiency and wellness of occupants, ensuring standards are met through various certification services and supporting customers in reaching their goals through energy and lifecycle planning for buildings. Raksystems proactively works with cross-selling from the Inspections service into renovation within the Project Services segment, where deep renovations and energy renovations are the most impactful.
EU is not on track to meet energy efficiency targets. 75% of EU building stock is inefficient with only 1% of buildings undergoing energy-efficient renovation every year. EU aims to double renovation rates in the next 10 years to align with EU Green Deal ambitions.
Enables impact acceleration across the following SDG targets:
7.2 renewable energy
7.3 energy efficiency
8.2 technological upgrading
8.4 resource efficiency
11.1 safe housing
13.3 education on CO2 mitigation
